This extension to the Up Front! Toolbox adds three Diploma competences to the Frontline Management offering, and includes the Recognition and Learning Plan tool originally released in the Certificate IV Toolbox.
As in the Certificate IV Toolbox, learners work through applied learning tasks using the 'See-Try-Apply' model. This empowers them to quickly gain a practical understanding of a skill, and apply it to their own workplace. In 'See' learners observe a manager solving a practical workplace problem, using practical tools. In 'Try' learners respond to 'what-if' scenarios to develop their problem solving skills. In 'Apply' learners transfer their learning to their own workplace, helping them to achieve positive outcomes for the whole team.
Each task is supported by a learning pack to help learners develop their knowledge and skills for the task. Learning packs contain an audio overview of the content, a comprehensive content guide written in easy-to-read plain English, links to websites with more resources, and a self-check quiz to help give learners a sense of 'How am I going?'
