The Aquaculture Toolbox contains online learning resources to support the delivery of 12 Units of Competency from the Certificate II in the Seafood Industry (Aquaculture) training package. This Toolbox features 12 Units of Competency that provide foundation skills and knowledge for the Aquaculture industry. This toolbox takes an activity-based approach to the delivery of online learning material. The learning resources are set on a fictitious fish farm, and learners are guided through a range of activities by two farm supervisors. The learning resources will need to be supported by practical demonstrations and workshops that enable learners to practise specific skills required to gain competence in the units. To facilitate this, learners will require access to a workplace in the Aquaculture Industry, or a simulated workplace environment provided by the Registered Training Organisation.
