This online literacy and numeracy learning resource, set in a fictitious training centre, is for trainers or assessors working with adult learners participating in training programs at AQF level II. You can use it in two ways:

1. As a problem-based professional development course. Work through one or both of the two learning paths (Training Package programs or bridging programs).

2. As a set of resources. Access only the resources you need, when you need them, in the Staff room.

The supporting resources in this product are aimed at AQF level II. However, most of the principles and strategies may be used more broadly. Users of this product develop skills and knowledge for supporting learners with literacy and numeracy needs by completing activities supported by built- in feedback, an online facilitator, other users or by accessing the resources included in the product. The resources in this product include activities, teaching strategies, relevant web links and virtual expert trainers.

The disaggregated nature of the product enables it to be easily customised so we can change the context of activities and other resources in order for it to become more relevant to a particular Training Package program, bridging program or learning situation.
