Supporting: BCG31398 Certificate III in General Construction
This product is a web based online learning support for the entry level competencies of seven trades, and the communication competency, in the Building and Construction ' General Training Package. The resource covers competencies that form part of the Certificates I, II and III in this training package. The product format is based on a learning object approach, allowing flexibility of use. There are generic learning objects (PPE and OH&S), specific learning objects for each trade's processes and materials, and a 'Tools' learning object with a filter allowing learners to choose the tools for one trade, or the tools for a type of process. These learning objects also include online activities. Job templates allow for a problem based approach using the learning objects. Each job also has a downloadable checklist and a quiz to get the learner started. The job template is available for trainers to design their own problem based lessons.
