Guide to obtaining 'C' Licensed downloads from ATP

Most material distributed by ATP is licensable throughAEShareNet.

Why do I need a licence?

You need a licence if you want to adapt, modify, copy, print, publish or distribute copyright material. Teachers often need to copy and adapt resources for their teaching and for this permission is required. Permission is granted through a licence.

What steps do I need to take to obtain C Licensed downloadable material from ATP?

  1. Find and purchase the downloadable material(s) from ATP.
  2. Download material fromMy Downloads
  3. Obtain a licence from AEShareNet:
    • Locate the listing of the material on the AEShareNet catalogue. Either search the catalogue viawww.aesharenet.com.au, or follow the link from the listing in the ATP catalogue (a link is provided on the "Item Detail" and the "My Downloads" page on the ATP website).
    • Press the "Request Licence" button.
    • Login or register on the AEShareNet system.
    • Complete the licence request by following the prompts.
  4. Once the licence has been transacted (paid for), you're free to adapt, modify, copy, print, publish or distribute the material as you wish.

Note: Step 2 can be done at any point after step 1.

Why can't I see items in "My Downloads"?

Items will only appear inMy Downloadsonce payment for your order has been approved by ATP.

I already have a current licence how do I access the material?

Once you have a current licence, you need to also place an order for the material with ATP (if you haven't already done so).
