This website is published and maintained by TVET Australia Limited. Your privacy is respected by this Company. All personal information collected by TVET Australia Limited is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Information on the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 can be found on the Federal Privacy Commissioner's website.

Your data will be used to enable us to provide you with the products you have requested, to inform you of other products you may be interested in, to assist with research and development of our product lines, and to maintain and develop our business systems and infrastructure.

Data will only be supplied through a direct request. You may review and modify your contact information at any time, including your correspondence preferences by accessing your details at our website registration page. Privacy Policy - Credit Card Payments

This website uses Verisign for the processing of all credit card transactions.

For customers making payment via this facility TVET Product Services advises that credit card details are directly transacted with Verisign. TVET Product Services does not at any stage have access to your credit card details. In your dealings with Verisign the session, or data transfer, is conducted using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Website Liability Disclaimer

Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the information contained on the TVET Product Services website. The publishers accept no liability to any person or entity with respect to any inaccuracy, misleading information, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by the information contained on the site. Changes and additions to the information contained on the TVET Product Services site are made frequently.

Product Liability Disclaimer

No warranties except those implied by law and which cannot be excluded are given by TVET Product Services in respect of the materials and products supplied. Where it is lawful to do so, the liability of TVET Product Services for a breach of a condition or warranty is limited to either the rectification or replacement of the materials or products or a refund of the purchase price paid for the materials or products (excluding any delivery charges), as determined by TVET Product Services in its discretion. To the extent permitted by law, TVET Product Services will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage suffered as a result of the use of materials or products supplied by TVET Product Services.

The customer acknowledges and warrants that it has relied on its own skill and judgment or that of its professional advisers on the suitability of the materials or products for specific purposes and indemnifies TVET Product Services from and against any suit, claim, demand or compensation which the customer or others may have against TVET Product Services in relation to the materials or products provided to the customer and the customer's use of the products or materials.

Product Price and Availability

All prices listed on this site are in Australian dollars, and all items should be currently available; however as the database is updated frequently, slight discrepancies may arise occasionally between product flyers and web data. 'Available' material is defined as items that can be generally supplied within 10 working days.

Short-shipped materials

There are many checks and balances in processing your order, however despatching from multiple mailing houses across the country - despite being well organised logistically - unavoidable problems can still occur.

If on the rare occasion you have discovered that your order has been short-shipped, please contact TVET Australia immediately on 03 9832 8188 to rectify the problem. We assume that all goods have arrived once a signature is provided upon delivery.

For items delivered without a signature on delivery we assume that all goods have reached their destination and are in good order after 14 days of the recorded delivery date, from such a date we are then unable to process a short shipment investigation.

Freight charges

Due to substantial increase in the costs of shipping freight an increase of our postage and handling charges will be made. As of June 1st 2009 postage and handling will be:

• $15 for the first item and a further $2 for each item thereafter will apply.
• Domestic freight is capped at $100.00 per order.
• International orders will be costed using the weight of the product and its destination.

TVET Australia have absorbed increases to freight costs over the last few years, however is not able to maintain this approach in the longer term. The small increase represents an initiative to reach cost recovery with all freight costs.

Returns

Returns will be accepted on the following basis:

• All returns will be approved or rejected at the discretion of TVET Australia. Consistent with the Trades Practices Act 1974, TVET Australia is not automatically responsible for accepting returns where there is a customer error or the customer simply changes their mind. As we are a print on demand operation it is important that you choose your materials carefully.
• As an industry standard, due to the nature of the media, CDs and downloadable products are not returnable for credit - unless they are defective and therefore not usable for technical reasons so again choose carefully.
• If the materials are assessed to be defective then we will be happy to replace or accept your return. A request to return can be made to TVET Australia within 14 days of receipt of the product. This can be done by completing the request to return form and sending it to TVET Australia via fax, mail or email.
• Approved returns will receive a credit and will be processed for the invoiced value of the stock returned, less a $20.00 charge for administration or 25% of the invoiced value of the books returned, whichever is the greater and will not be refunded the initial freight charge of delivering the materials to you. However this fee will be waived if TVET is at fault or the products are defective.

Merchant Refund Policy

Credit card customers please note: While the cost of Merchant Fees are picked up by TVET Product Services, where a customer seeks a refund for an item for any reason, TVET Product Services will deduct the Merchant Fees (along with any subsidiary costs in the Returns Policy) from the customer's refundable total before refunding the subsequent portion of funds to the customer.
