Privacy Policy - Credit Card Payments

This website uses Verisign for the processing of all credit card transactions.

For customers making payment via this facility ATP advises that credit card details are directly transacted with Verisign. ATP does not at any stage have access to your credit card details. In your dealings with Verisign the session, or data transfer, is conducted using industry standard Secure Socket Layout (SSL) technology.

Website Liability Disclaimer

Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the information contained on the ATP website. The publishers accept no liability to any person or entity with respect to any inaccuracy, misleading information, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by the information contained on the site. Changes and additions to the information contained on the ATP site are made frequently.

Product Liability Disclaimer

No warranties except those implied by law and which cannot be excluded are given by ATP in respect of the materials and products supplied. Where it is lawful to do so, the liability of ATP for a breach of a condition or warranty is limited to either the rectification or replacement of the materials or products or a refund of the purchase price paid for the materials or products (excluding any delivery charges), as determined by ATP in its discretion. To the extent permitted by law, ATP will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage suffered as a result of the use of materials or products supplied by ATP.

The customer acknowledges and warrants that it has relied on its own skill and judgment or that of its professional advisers on the suitability of the materials or products for specific purposes and indemnifies ATP from and against any suit, claim, demand or compensation which the customer or others may have against ATP in relation to the materials or products provided to the customer and the customer's use of the products or materials.

Product Price and Availability

All prices listed on this site are in Australian dollars, and all items should be currently available; however as the database is updated frequently, slight discrepancies may arise occasionally between product flyers and web data. 'Available' material is defined as items that can be generally supplied within 5-10 working days.

Credit Application Form

A Credit Application is required by organisations who wish to use a purchase order rather than pre-pay. Upon receipt by ATP, it takes about 10 working days for the application to be processed and then another week for the order to be shipped, however once the account is established, orders can be made and delivered in the standard 3-8 working days. Note: A faxed copy of the purchase order is always required when using a credit account.

Returns

Returns will be accepted on the following basis:

  • All returns will be approved or rejected at ATP's discretion. Where a sample of the product is available on our website, ATP is not automatically responsible for accepting returns where there is a customer error. Gohere(pdf 0.1Mb)for a returns form.
  • A request to return can be made to ATP within 21 days of receipt of the product. This may be done by completing the request to return form and sending it to ATP via fax, mail or email.
  • Approved returns will receive a credit and will be processed for the invoiced value of the stock returned, less a $20.00 charge for administration, handling and storage, or 25% of the invoiced value of the books returned, whichever is the greater.
  • Where ATP is in error, a full credit will be issued at no cost to the customer.
  • CD products are not returnable for credit - unless they are defective and therefore not usable for technical reasons.
  • Bookshop returns are covered separately under "Wholesale Arrangements - Bookshops".

ATP Merchant Refund Policy

ATP credit card customers please note: While the cost of Merchant Fees are picked up by ATP, where a customer seeks a refund for an item for any reason, ATP will deduct the Merchant Fees (along with any subsidiary costs in the Returns Policy) from the customer's refundable total before refunding the subsequent portion of funds to the customer.

Quantity Discounts

Customers who purchase products in bulk are able to take advantage of quantity discounts. The quantity is determined as multiples of a single title, not multiple titles. For example, 11 copies of one title will attract a discount of 10%. However, one copy of each of 15 different titles will not qualify for any discount. The discount structure is as follows:
